Cabot Trail Relay Weekend

If you’re in Nova Scotia and looking for staycation ideas, the Cabot Trail is the place for you. For reals. It’s breathtaking.

I spent the past weekend there as a supporter/driver/cheerleader/sleep-deprived monster for the Cabot Trail Relay; a race that my dad and partner were both on a team for.

Even though I forgot my camera and had to use my mobile, I’m thinking that even Peter Jackson’s video equipment wouldn’t have been able to capture just how magnificent the views are. You’ll have to check it out for yourself.

It’s going to take me a couple of days to catch up on sleep but at least I’ll dream of the picturesque views from atop Smokey Mountain.
